GREETLAND FOOTBALL CLUB
A Little Bit About Us
Our club is situated at the heart of the Greetland community. Steeped in history, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for footballers of all ages to enjoy the beautiful game.
Formed over 50 years ago, development has always been our core of our club. Development of players. Development of coaches. And development of our facilities. Constantly improving, we are really excited about the future, with big plans in the pipeline.
And whether you have visited our site as an existing member of the club, or somebody who is interested in joining us, we really value your interest.
OUR TEAMS
Let’s Delve Deeper
Yes, development is key but equally so, growth is so important to us. Year on year, we are growing the number of teams playing under the Greetland Football Club banner and in doing so, providing a platform for budding footballers to join our club.
We currently have over 30 teams playing under our magnificent club and we are continuing to grow, meeting the needs of you, the community.
We talk a lot about pride within our club. And we are proud of the bandwidth of teams we offer. Are you a 5 year old young footballer, desperate to start your career? We have a session and a team for you. Or perhaps you are thinking about dusting down those boots and prolonging your career. Then our Masters teams are for you. And of course, we have teams for every age group in between.
Pay a little visit to our Teams page, for more specific information and how to contact us.
LOTS OF TEAMS
Catering For All
Our growth has coincided with a general demand for local footballers to join Greetland. We have teams for boys. We have teams for girls. We run sessions for our Disability footballers. Open age football also, therefore players within the Greetland family often commence their career at the tender age of 5, progress through the years and eventually move to the Open Age ranks. We also have a pathway for over 50’s who are interested in Walking Football.
Quite simply, we have something for everybody.
I hope you have enjoyed reading a little bit more about us. There is so much more to tell, therefore have a little look at our News page for articles, blogs and everything in between.

A NOTE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
I am extremely proud to lead this wonderful community club. We are progressive, always striving for growth and development, whilst ensuring our footballers are at the heart of every thing we do. Our future is extremely bright.
Enjoy!
