Health & Safety Policy Statement

It is the Policy of Greetland Football Club (“the Club”) to comply with all health and safety regulations and provide a safe environment for players, volunteers and visitors to the Club. The Club will undertake risk assessments of its activities, putting in place measures to mitigate risk and avoiding activities where the risk cannot be adequately managed.

The Club recognises that risks to health can be both physical and emotional and all coaches and managers will undertake regular First Aid and Safeguarding training and promote an open and supportive culture at all times.

Everyone involved with the Club has a responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of those around them. It is the responsibility of all persons to promptly report any injuries, incidents or near misses to the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
