The Adam Heslop Cup took place recently at the Halifax Indoor Football Centre and is an annual tournament organised by FC Halifax Town with 30 primary school teams competing from across Calderdale.

The competition is in its 9th year and is made possible thanks to the fantastic support received from RSA Insurance and The National League Trust.

After a thrilling day of football the winners of both the boys and girls competitions were Greetland Academy. This is the first time a school has won both trophies in the same year. Congratulations to the staff and footballers in this amazing achievement.

Both teams now progress to the regional finals of the National League Trust U11 Cup where they will face the winners of the local tournaments ran by other National League clubs. The tournament culminates in a National Final played at Wembley Stadium.
