Let us introduce you to our newest teams at Greetland FC, and it’s not one but two under 7s squads who are playing in the Huddersfield Junior Football League each Sunday.

Even though the boys are new to playing at Greetland they are no strangers to playing football as for the past 2 years they have been nurtured and introduced to the basic skills of the game by playing and training at the Mark Duffy Football School at West Vale. This means they are ready to tackle competitive games against other clubs in the area.

As well as developing the footballers the staff at Mark Duffy’s have also supported the parents of some of the boys who have volunteered to be the coaches of these teams.

Neil, Scott, Gavin, Phil and Tom have kindly given up their time to continue to develop the boys throughout their footballing journey and we wish them well.

The partnership between Greetland FC and Mark Duffys Football School creates a pathway for our youngest footballers to become part of an established local grassroots club where they can continue to develop and enjoy the beautiful game.

If you are interested in finding out more information about how the partnership works you can message us via the website or you can visit Mark Duffy Football School at markduffyfootballschool.co.uk
